Aww :(. I knew Red XIII and Morrigan had zero chance of making it, but I hoped Wolf would have been able to scrape up another nom. Let's hope for the best in the prelims, I guess.
What's that I hear? You nommed Kingler as a joke? I can retroactively disqualify him for that and put Protoman in.

I can also say that Kingler was a nomination I didn't put much thought into other than, "Oh look, Kingler has a nomination. Just for the heck of it, I'll give support!" Yes, I randomly selected and I ended up with a diverse pool. Kingler's still a legitimate contestant; just more unimportant than a large group of characters in the games he/she appears in.
The Dragon Age Morrigan. She's not even my favorite from DA:O, but that's my favorite game and she was the only one with even a remote chance of making it. I guess I felt obligated to at least nom one character from the game.
Though I am pretty surprised Frog was the only CT character to make it.
I haven't played Dragon Age so I wouldn't know much about Morrigan. But she seems like one heck of a character; I might've also thrown in a Kingler-esque nomination for Zevran, but decided against it.

Yeah, Morrigan is definitely the most interesting character in the game. I was kinda pissed when she was reduced to a passing mention in DA2. Then again, even the most major characters were reduced to cameos at best. Oghren (who's my favorite, but not exactly the most popular) wasn't even mentioned. I never liked Zevran, though... something just rubbed me the wrong way with him.
Each group will have a round robin, so three matches in each group. Each win is worth 3 points, a draw is worth 1 point, and a loss is 0 points. Whoever wins each group gets a spot. Playoffs between the second-place finishers will determine the last few spots.
Matches are standard fare: 1 vote per day.

If the B8 Minecraft server wasn't great then I could've gotten the Cyberdemon into the bracket. =(
But this is a great group with characters I all care about somehow, and I'm looking foward to seeing how Round 2 of preliminaries goes.
Finally, Gordon Freeman has zero votes? lolwut? First Dr. Breen gets killed in the Villains Contest in Round 2 or something, then Freeman can't muster a single vote. Half-Life's characters are falling like crazy!

Ok, edited with the missing vote accounted for. The counter still didn't recognize the last Bayonetta vote, so I'll have to switch to manual vote counting until I can get it fixed. (Oh no, the pain...)

Wolf, Phase 1 winner, barely survives against Garcian, topping off a poor day for Nintendo. Tommy Vercetti's thuggetry is a bad influence on the baby Chao, but it got him the win.

For the ones that I checked, that's what I got. I think the counter probably missed edwardsdv's Bayonetta vote due to him putting "Bayonetta (Bayonett" though if you accounted for that then I don't know what to tell you.
