One of the three films so far this year I would classify as "great."*

Simply beautiful on a visual level if on nothing else. Just so many great images and moments I don't even know where to begin. I have to watch some of these tracking shots again to see everything that was put together into the mise-en-scene. Just fabulous. I wish I had something specific to draw on, but if you appreciate film in any sort of aesthetic sense this is a great movie to see this summer.


Also has probably the best credits/post-credits sequences I've seen recently, so don't leave right away!

*Miss Bala and The Deep Blue Sea being the other two in case anyone's interested.
