Reread the UU and uu conversations, you'll find a lot of subtext about it. I remember in the most recent UU conversation there's something like Jane says that they're up to their necks in trouble and UU repeats it but says "neck" instead of "necks" or something.

Yes, but it's still not a certainly or anything, so saying it'll most likely happen when there's still every chance it won't just kinda irks me. Just ignore me when I say things like that I guess.

But there's not 'every chance it won't'. There's very little chance it won't. Evidence is evidence for a reason- when you get enough of something it makes it relatively certain.

And there's a lot of evidence for it.

You're technically right, but Homestuck is a story that loves its foreshadowing, and there have been a lot of hints dropped. Homestuck also loves misleads, though! In this situation....I don't know what he'd mislead to.

Jack (and White King too) transported themselves in a seed capsule that came through one of the portals. And it crashed landed Years In the Future and etc. But then The Scratch changed where the portals went, so they never technically were sent there (but also were). So.......are there "copies" of them in the B2 time capsule then, basically the same thing that happened with the ectobabies and meteors?

that would be dumb, though, right?

She actually just flew through space. Plus, we see her ship in one of Jake's flashbacks, she killed Nana Jade. She's just been waiting till Jane entered to make her presence known. And that's another thing, this is taking place after Jane entered. She's most definitely already there.

The weapons weren't in the B1 capsule, so presumable the capsules are different.

The frog temple isn't a copy of B1's, since the design is different. (There are eight pillars corresponding to the eight player session this time) Also I'd imagine if this was the case they would come out at the exact same time they did in B1's session, which was 413 years after this. I think it was said at some point (I think it was when Rose was talking to Dave) that the Frog temple in B2 was probably sent to Earth in some other way than the reckoning, which we'll probably see later.

Well duh, I know she's Betty Crocker. I know she's been on Earth for 100 years before making herself known. Nothing I said implied otherwise. But she still needed to get to Earth somehow, and I was asking if we knew how and if not, if it could've been via the seed capsule.

I'm impressed by how long it has taken to finally bring the mystery of the green box to a close. It's pretty weird to think that we first learned about Jake before we learned about about half of the trolls, since John read Jake's letter before Hivebent started. After Cascade, this was one of the only major mysteries that had not been wrapped up or even addressed yet.

Personally I'm wondering if we'll ever get any explanation to how things can get transported between those two iterations of the same universe besides "magic teleporter."

The two universes are basically just standard parallel timelines. Characters have been jumping between timelines since the first intermission, so it's no biggie really.

I think he read half of the letter before Hivebent, and the other half after. Could be remembering that wrong, though.

Oh, the other half of the note is when John gets the Zillyhoo. I had actually TOTALLY forgotten about it. I was pretty sure that at one point Jake signed his name as J but I couldn't remember when, so glad to have that mystery solved. That's also the part where Jake made all the hints about Jade that he was talking about that I also couldn't find.

Alternate timelines always continue to exist in Homestuck according to Hussie. We've met John and Dave from alternate timelines in dreambubbles remember.

Bascially, the B1 universe was destroyed by the scratch and doesn't exist after that, but it still exists before the scratch, so as long as you can access it at an earlier point in time there's no problem.

Hahaha, Hussie just totally took the piss out of Cascade. Cascade was the only thing in Homestuck that was completely deadpan serious and he still managed to make it funny.

From the hints by the music team, it sounds like Homestuck Volume 9 will release on 6/12. The music team has a track record of completely messing with people (and I have to admire them for that) but it IS 6/12, so it's probably legit.

Ok, so uu is definitely sharing a body with UU somehow. In addition to the fact that he pretty much spells it out for us, notice that the hands removing the caps on the royal pieces match the hand smashing the board.

There's obviosuly more to it than that, though, since uu plans to kill UU's waking body, which would kill him too if it was that simple.

Not necessarily. uu will still have his dream self, whereas UU will be completely dead. He could kill himself on one of those stone slabs and wake up as God Tier.
