Scott Walker is a typical politician who like all politicians pressed his advantage until it got him into trouble. Then he went into damage control mode and with the incumbents advantage and all of the elements that got him elected in the first place strong is looking to win the special recall election.
But dont think that Joe Democrat in Wisconsin wouldnt have done exactly the same thing. See the choice between Republicans and Democrats isnt a choice between like Steak and Chicken or even Black and White. Its a choice between like Pepsi and Coke. walker probably will win by 2-3 points. Recall election, low turnout and all that. Its a shame because most people in Wisconsin don't like him but those that vote in recall elections do. The Koch connection helps as well.

I enjoy the US politics just for the laughs, but they actually hold sway over your lives in nearly every way. The only downside is that it has a trickle down effect into Canada due to shared things like economies and the like.
