today I watched Planet Hulk on Netflix and thought it was pretty okay

and its occurred to me that I haven't seen ANY of these movies

I hear the batman ones are good

Batman: Under the Red Hood is excellent.

Ultimate Avengers is ok, don't really remember too much about it.

Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes is indeed awesome. If you like it and you liked Justice League you'd probably like Young Justice.

Under The Red Hood is really good

All Star Superman is good, so is Batman: Year One, but the books are better in both cases.

Other than that, all I've seen are the Green Lantern DC animated movies, which aren't really that great. Well, besides Sinestro.

These are the best ones, with Under the Red Hood being the best.



The only Marvel offering here that I'm really a fan of is Hulk vs Wolverine, but at a bit over half an hour it's hardly a movie.

Avoid Superman/Batman: Apocalypse and Superman/Batman: Public Enemies.

EDIT: Both All-Star Superman and Batman: Year One are much better comics. Crisis on Two Earths (JLA: Earth 2) is also a very good comic, with a meh movie. Justice League: Doom (JLA: Tower of Babel) is a terrible comic, with the movie being much better.

The problem with the Green Lantern animated movies, and the Green Lantern movie, and the Green Lantern cartoon (though it's getting better) is that they could be way, way more than they are. By all rights GL should be the best source material to draw from for pretty much any medium, it's f***ing awesome, but they all play it too safe. Emerald Knights was OK, but it was just a collection of shorts.

Well, possibly. It's not HORRENDOUS or anything, just the worst of the lot after Public Enemies. It's also got some pretty awful art, heavily influenced by the source materials pretty awful artist.

I enjoyed Public Enemies, but I have yet to watch Apocalypse. The art is pretty bad, though, I'll agree with that.

Still haven't seen Doom yet, I need to get on that.

It is pretty much the poster boy for the Batgod style of Batman book, where Batman can do ANYTHING and is always prepared for ANYTHING no matter what and could take out ANY superhero or villain whenever he wanted with minimal to no effort. It's all just really, really stupid.
