He could have linked the 90s Batman cartoon and it still would have been added to the crap list. I'm reading now that season 3 would be the "magical" season and that the Civil War story may be a part of it since they are planting some seeds in season 2. I think Surfer/Galactus and Thanos too may be in this season 2 since this is the "cosmic" season. Point is...we have tons of stuff too look forward to in this season and plenty of good ideas for season 3. They can't do them if they cancel it. If you told me they're cancelling it to make a new one that is in line with future Avenger movies...I'd be pissed but I'd get the money making aspect of that. I don't see how making it match Ultimate Spider Man makes any sense. And that is twice as bad since Ultimate Spider Man is garbage and replaced a half-way decent Spider Man show (Spectacular Spider Man). So we had a crappy Spider Man replace a decent one. Then we have an amazing Avengers cartoon scrapped to fit in with that crappy Spider Man. And none of it makes sense since Spider Man's connection to the Avengers is fairly weak (I know he joins many teams later...but that's not important to most people). And worst of all, I see no financial gain by making it match Ultimate Spider Man. Where's the practical benefit? They are 2 unrelated shows.
