Plague > Gone > Hunger > Lies

Fear could be as high as number 1, but it'd be hard to be lower than Lies.

Imagine if Jesus knew kung fu. That's what everyone is dealing with

Small coastal village.

Every person aged 15 or older disappears in an instant.

People start to develop mutant-esque powers. Some powers had been developing even before the disappearing.

There is some kind of barrier with a 10 mile radius centered on the local power plant.

When the 14 year olds turn 15 they disappear too.




That is some of the early plot stuff in a nutshell without giving away any real details.

For me personally I got incredibly invested in the characters and the books just felt very powerful as a result.

Books 1-5 are out with Book 6 (the last book) on its way.

Sounds cool. I did the whole Percy Jackson series which was... ok. I felt the author was kinda lazy on how he conveyed some things but I was hooked on how he set everything up and how bad you wanted to get to next plot point. Im not feeling Red Pyramid yet so this sounds interesting
