Considering he's my favorite character I'm surprised I continued without him... but I couldn't use him anyway since I'm focusing on others. Xuxon 05/18/12 11:33:00 PM #6:	Regular exp is better generally, because you can only gain 3 stats with bexp, and most of the time you'll have better growths than that. But if you wanted, you could just reset until one of the 3 is spd (I think). The main use, I would say, is when you've already capped several stats, so this could let you get all the others, or 3/4 or 3/5 or whatever. <cite>Xuxon posted [p:1158607] in I'm pl... Despite his low official speed growth I managed to cap speed for him on tier 2 in both of my playthroughs. It's pretty cool except that they all have crappy speed. I've grown to like Leonardo and Aran, I'll probably use them again in the future now. Ilyana probably not. The latter has died twice already on what is supposed to be an easy chapter. Leo is actually pretty okay if you train him. Beastfoe+Leo is really strong. He'll carry you later. But yea. His stat growth early prebonus EXP is just ugh. Skill, Luck and Res heavy. He'll always hit I guess. Aran is great IMO. For Geoffrey's crew. Dandev is likely the best unit of that bunch. Makalov has some funny quirks to him like having the highest speed growth in the game. Keiran doesn't need babysitting but ends up the 2nd worst of that crew. Astrid is super awful. Geoffrey rejoins super late and is a horseback unit anyway. There's also a bunch of other items you can get by stealing or defeating certain enemies. Thing is, I have never done this. I am rarely too aggressive when it comes to Fire Emblem. I usually fortify myself and let enemies come to me. So let's say I wanted to get those items and such. Is there a strategy for doing so? I can't figure one out... Side note: Danved died at the end of the previous chapter. Keiran doesn't need babysitting but ends up the 2nd worst of that crew. Astrid is super awful. Geoffrey rejoins super late and is a horseback unit anyway.
