Like today at work, I was on a side stand with two high-schoolers (they weren't that bad for the most part, but I stayed out of the high school talk because I want nothing to do with that s***). One of them was surprised that other people could hear him so clearly over the counter.

I was like dude there isn't a sound barrier here.

Yeah the other day I was pulled over by a cop and he asked me if I knew how fast I was going back at that intersection. Obviously I said I didn't know, and he acted so surprised, as if he had never heard of the Heisenberg uncertainty principle before...

Yeah the other day this little kid asked me why the sky was blue.

He looked at me confused as **** when I explained it.

I mean, how do people not know about Rayleigh scattering?

Yeah the other day this guy said he was making wings out of feathers and wax. Said he'd be able to fly. And when I tried to explain it to him he was like no way.

It's like who hasn't heard of the Icarus principle.

Yeah the other day my friends and I were eating nachos with cheese, and one of them tried to dip his nacho after he'd already took a bite. He acted so confused when we stopped him. It's like he'd never heard of the double dip principle before.

That guy definitely isn't a friend.

I know how you feel. Like a few days ago I discussed games with a buddy and he was shocked when I compared him to Hitler for liking Call of Duty. I mean who hasn't heard of Godwin's Law in this day and age.

Yeah the other day this guy I know posted this thing on a message board and he acted all surprised when Sess critiqued it badly. It's like he's never heard that Sess invented posting before.

I'm surprised at the number of people that think the seasons are caused by the distance from the Earth to the Sun.

Well, they have the basic idea, right? It's like the tilt of the Earth away from the sun or something isn't it?
