I honestly hated Max Payne when it came out....probably because I was a young kid who sucked at video games. But anyway, I am going to start with the original and play it through. I just remember spamming bullet time at every possible situation. No idea if that's a good idea or not but that's what I did!

Hm, it's been a while but.... quick-save often is what I remember most.

So, quick-save often.

Sometimes your bullet time goes awfully wrong and you end up losing a bunch of health.

iirc it gets significantly harder as the game goes on, but it's nothing terribly tough if you have any experience with shooters
