From: KamikazePotato | #350 I don't care about the mini-map icons, I just want my own personal face portrait to change. There's no point in me buying skins if I see the classic face no matter what my character looks like.
While I agree that it would be a nice addition, you are completely blowing things out of proportion.
You spend like what.. 1 minute in character selection? Looking at your actual portrait. Then you play a game of 20-50 mins where you look at the actual skin you bought. Sure, the portraits are still there on the HUD but you don't spend a lot of time looking at those do you?
I 'notice' my portrait face all the time, more than my actual model. When I play I'm not concentrating on my character, I'm concentrating on everything around them.
Time to start looking at energy champions! Kennen would be fun I'm sure. I had fun with Kat when she was on free week once, though I'd always Shunpo myself into danger.
And Vladimir. I played a game with Vladimir. It was rough goings, though I supposed I'd just need a little practice.
I ban Kennen any chance I get, even if you shut him down in lane he can ruin games with his ult (also none of my friends play him lolol)
I also want to get Cass, but I'm so bad at mid lane that I almost don't want to. Which sucks because Anivia and Ziggs are two of my favorite champs to play, I'm just straight bad with them :(

Just played a game after taking a short break. Not only did I think my positioning was amazing (11 kills and 11 assists with only 2 deaths), but the Nunu that supported me was even more amazing. There was a team fight that erupted mid where the enemy Amumu's ult followed by a Q - > E combo left me very low. His AoE was surely gonna take me out, but Nunu started channeling his ulti to slow Amumu down so that I could get away. I only felt safe for a split-second, however, because Amumu flashed out of the ulti and his AoE took me down to less than 50 HP, but Nunu flash Q'd him to keep me safe for good. Ahhh aside from my blind baron steal, I don't think I've ever freaked out so much.
Tell me or FD or someone who jungles a lot when you are going to queue up and we can spectate your game and give feedback for you from a bird's eye view. I bet that could help.

and, like, I can kill the monsters in the jungle, I'm just bad at making decisions, I think. I've been wanting to play ranked, so I figured I just needed to do it.

Shows how much I play Nunu! I could've spent 30 seconds to check what skills where what, but that would've been 30 seconds I could've spent doing something else. Like typing this post!
We are revising the penalty for queue dodging in Ranked Mode. We intend to remove a player's ability to intentionally queue dodge from Ranked Mode and tank their Elo.
Unfortunately this also means that innocents are even more at the mercy of trolls.
Even more reasons to keep my crappy ELO.

Forceful_Dragon posted... You realize that there is NO reason to dodge a game to avoid someone you perceive to be a troll?
You lose the ELO and don't even play the game. Why would you ever want to dodge?
I don't dodge games for this very reason - a game isn't lost until your nexus blows up, and often people who say they'll troll in champ select don't have the balls to go through with it, but some people are pessimists who want to save themselves time I guess.
Or you could lose ELO without doing a single thing.
You realize that even if you dodge a loss that you feel is a "sure thing" you're still going to have to WIN the very next game just to break even on the game you decided NOT to play.

It never makes sense.
While this is true, it all depends on how much you care about your Elo. If you KNOW someone's going to troll, you may very well want to trade 12 Elo to avoid 20+ minutes of frustration.
step 1) take inhib step 2) be a complete ***ing moron and refuse to heal step 3) be surprised when they get baron
This happens WAY too much.
If you guys learn nothing from me in this post learn this: AFTER your team takes an inhibitor your NUMBER ONE priority is to MAKE SURE they can't turn it around and baron.
Because it happens SO much. Team A kills an inhib. Team A takes their sweet ****ing time healing. Team B rushes to baron and is right back in the game.
