It's "I saw..." or "I've seen..."

I was at a friend's and his brother and dad were both saying it. How does that not sound so wrong in your mind that you don't question it? And they're definitely not saying "I've" I always listen for it but it is not there.

Does anyone else notice this? What can I do to stop it?

What can I do to stop it?

I try thinking about all the things that I could legitimately be mad or annoyed about in life, and that helps me realize that insignificant things like this just aren't worth worrying about.

as long as people understand each other, i have no problem with how language is used in your average conversation

it's always evolving anyway

only time you need to be a grammar nazi is when you're using the language in a professional environment that requires you to speak or write that way
