And their gasoline pumping slows down the flow for your pump, when they could've gone to any of the other 20 available pumps. Gas pumps that pump half gasoline, half water into your car when you're at the very end of a 1,000+ mile trip with most of what you own in your car are the worst. Happened to my roommate too. I avoid those kinds of things because I'm a huge wuss and have natural survival instincts. However, I enter and exit my car at a gas station because I'm prone to boredom in the summer and would prefer to not be cold in the winter.
