Charon has never really been insufferable-- he's just really really easy to poke fun at and so it's kinda fun to do that if you want to create some quick and easy drama.
Like this isn't really a jp thing this is just "people goad him for reactions because he's so think skinned" thing. And I say that as someone who routinely used to do that. I'm not gonna say I'm a better person now I just got bored of it.

I don't think antagonizing vcharon is 'righteous'. I think that there are extremely obvious reasons for why someone would antagonize vcharon, that no one even antagonized him today, and that someone getting on their high horse for vcharon when no one did anything to him after he was the one that probably even caused the outburst was ridiculous. It's that simple.

Trolling was definitely not the right word for it. I latched onto that word when others mentioned it -- here, on AIM, all over the place. It wasn't trolling, but there's just this weird anti-vcharon in-joke going on round after round and I just don't 'get' it.

I was just stating the truth. You can try to suger-coat it all you want by saying 'he's just thin-skinned', but really. People don't mess with thin-skinned people as badly as I've seen people mess with vcharon. I don't think it's 'righteous' or 'justified' or whatever but going 'I don't get why people are being so mean to vcharon' is just plain wrong.

Well let me put it another way.
l3fty's got people making jokes about him pretty often. He takes it like a champ though. I don't know the history there either. For as long as I've been around here I really don't know the histories behind a lot of users' weird circles and anti-circles and totally-joking stuff and... whatever. And I rarely care to... care, but tonight I wish I knew these things!
vcharon's the only other dude in the contest that people always seem to be takin' cracks at, and yeah, it's lighthearted enough, but it just seems weird to me how recurring it is. If he's the 'Kenny always dies on South Park' of this contest or something (really bad example but I'm pretty drunk, man) then it just seems like an odd choice.
You say he's been insufferable in the past (that was you, right? Don't feel like confirming) but I missed that, whatever that was, so I come in and yeah, I've got the kind of personality where I want to help people too much and I get involved in inane pseudo-arguments that shouldn't even be happening like this one, but I come in and it just seems just odd enough to make a comment about.
Poor word choice on my part maybe, but there's a cause for it and it isn't just 'he's being ridiculous'.

Again, you know my "history" here. I regret overreacting in some instances of things, but I am not a bad person. I have tried to "play nice" and be "cool" this contest. I don't feel I deserve the daily trolling session. And Lately that has been breaking down because I just don't weather trolling too well. Yeah you posted your thing, everyone had a laugh. But I'm the butt of the joke. As I said, I can take a joke, however I feel you generally do not like me or regard me positively at all. When that happens, yeah I don't like it nor does it make me feel too good you would carry this on and on tirelessly in a contest you don't even really participate in. It feels malicious and while it was a simple little thing at the end of the day, it is the underlying root of it all. I know several people here just don't like me, and I consider you one of those people honestly. I don't really regard you in the same way as others because you make quality posts elsewhere, but my general vibe from you is that you just don't like me. I don't deal well with it, so yeah. But this was unprovoked, I had not even said anything to warrant it. I was not being "insufferable".

Also besides Capcom being completely greedy dumbasses, they do make mechanically fine fighters for the most part. Unless people still complain about Phoenix and Wesker.

I picked you for the pic because you've been the most staunchly anti-rallying person in the contest (from what I've seen from the few times I've been voted this time, and from the past) and it made a good contrast. That was it.
I can't comment on how you've acted the rest of the contest but it had nothing to do with that.
