But really, this statement doesn't really mean anything. What would a Zelda that played like Elder Scrolls be like? You have a huge open world and you can non-sequentially do missions for different factions and such? I dunno, Zelda has always been about a core linear story, with side missions. Maybe they just mean something like MM, where side missions are far more emphasized? Well MM definitely was incredible...

Skyrim has such awful combat.

Zelda is better off being Zelda.

Erm TES with Zelda style combat would be a vast improvement. OoT has better combat than Skyrim, which is laughable, but it's true.
