Blues have Pietrangelo, who is an amazing defensemen whether you want to admit it or not and he will be star if he isn't already. I'd say a few more could be stars as well, McDonald, Oshie, Perron. We also have a lot of depth to our team. So really I don't think you have a valid reason for hating them. You just do. And as far as the SERIES being exciting goes, credit goes to the Canucks for keeping it competitive. In any case, I feel the Sharks/Blues series has been the least competitive of all. It also seems to me that it's been more about the Sharks failing and generally playing poorly than the Blues playing particularly well. I feel like I have some authority to speak on this as I was supporting the Wild during their run in 2003, and they had just about the most boring team ever assembled. It was exciting TO ME because I was a fan and I saw it as a pluck underdog triumphing over the entire world. I'm sure it was exciting to Avs and Canucks fans who stared in disbelief as a bunch of nobodies defeated their all-star laden teams.
