I've been watching sports since before I could form coherent thoughts (in before dumb joke here), and I've never seen a team so loaded with talent, with such an incredible opportunity to do great things completely fold like that. This includes some of the high-win Yankee teams that bowed out in the first round, and this includes the Yankee team that actually DID go up 3-0 and lose the series. At least that team was inferior to their opponents at nearly all positions. The Penguins have no such excuse. They let the Flyers want it more than them, and Marc Andre Fleury needs to be re-evaluated if I'm Ray Shero. Yes, he was a major part of our SCF victory, and he's played well in the regular season. But this is three straight playoff series where he has been our worst player and we've lost because of it. I know it's tough to get a solid goal tender but he's got to run out of chances in the post season at some point. At the end of the day this Penguins team should've been a dynasty like Gretzky's Oilers were with the talent that they've had, and from top to bottom they've let that opportunity slip. They should be embarrassed with themselves and as far as I'm concerned top to bottom they should all give their paychecks for April back because they sure as hell didn't earn them. What a joke.
