It would be cool if Ayv did a chapter having to do with the training center and gave the tributes a few choices that might determine their training score, which in turn could give them an advantage or a disadvantage in the games themselves. It could be something just as simple as bragging rights, or like this tribute scored a 10 so they're able to more easily grab a weapon from the cornucopia, or find water, or something like that.

Just a thought.

We desire respect for we provide you with the materials that make your lives comfortable while having barely enough goods to survive.

If you think you are so great then try leaving your posh homes and spend a week in District 4. I bet you couldn't stand all the work we do here since you don't actually have to work in District 1 unless you want to train a couple hours a day. Your tributes won't survive and District 4 shall come out on top!

The viewpoints of commoners never fail to exasperate me. Are the best of the districts truly so ignorant of their enemies that they spout stereotypes? Let me reiterate what I have already said, though I doubt it gets through your thick uneducated skull.

We inherit nothing. District 1 is not the heavenly paradise you people seem to think it is. Reward without sacrifice? Spending all of our days in luxury? You truly believe hard work and pride is only attainable in each of your districts? That is just... words fail me. Are you all daft?

Buy our training? Of course, only morons who waste away their lives are unprepared. With money that appears by magic? Then you are a fool. No training equipment and know-how you say? How unfortunate for you. And trying to pass it off as a good thing? That is just sad.

We recognize the hard work in procuring materials. We pay the price you ask for your pride as workers. it is not our fault that none of you has the foresight to make sure you have enough supplies as you trade. But that has no bearing on the Hunger Games. There we will give you your due respect, and feel OUR determination as your heart beats it's last.

One of your own is promoting that your people has cancer, what is that if not a cry for help?

You speak as if we don't know what it is that the other districts do. We know. Given the opportunity, we will shame you as we beat you on your own trade. Oh howdy! Everyone's already promoting their districts, eh? It is pleasant to get to know each other before the games!

Well, we from District 3 aren't big on speaking out of our backside - pardon the expression - rather, we'll prove it to you with our actions. However, we wouldn't want to be taken too lightly by the sponsors or anything, so let me introduce our lovely district to you.

The honorable people from District 1 and 2 are indeed richer than us. Good for them! And they might have more expensive training equipments and facilities - to tell the truth, it would be just lovely to visit them one day. However, well, there is such thing as overconfidence. All those trainings and knowledge and everything -- ah, it would be a shame to let all of those go to waste simply because of one's sense of pride.
Furthermore, I can't help but notice that some people from District 1 and 2 are rather...say, hard to approach. We need each other! It's just impossible for one district to stand alone, but unfortunately not everyone seems to remember this.

While the hardworking and admirable people from District 4 and 5 are known as some of the toughest men and women in Panem - with due respect - they could use a more balanced diet and lifestyle. There is such thing as working too hard, so they should mind their health! There is no fun in competing with unhealthy rivals.
Thankfully, I believe The Hunger Games committee will provide ample food for everyone, so they wouldn't have to worry about that. However, I hope that they won't, ah, get confused with the things they didn't have the chance to experience in their districts. Though I'm sure their lovely mentors will take care of the new contestants, please don't hesitate to ask us about the 'television', 'light', 'refrigerator', or anything you might need help with!

Meanwhile, we the people from District 3 might not be swimming in cash like the folks from the districts with higher number, nor we struggle twenty-four hours a day like our friends from District 4 and District 5 - but we are happily content with ourselves. We take lessons from the other districts and filter the imperfections they might have. Our hospitality is well-known throughout the nation and our adaptability unmatched. We are most thankful for the sponsors who consistently support us throughout the previous games.

I suppose it has become a tradition to, ahem, point out the shortcomings of the other districts, but we, or at least I, respectfully decide to not partake in this lively banter. I just hope that the best district win.

Then that pathetic soul doesn't deserve my respect. No one that claims that his own people has cancer to get pitied by others deserves respect from anyone. The people of District 4 are people that do not wish for pity but there is usually one exception to everything and that man is one of them.

Also I would probably despair and die.... from boredom! You are the only District that does not provide for the others. If you you of District 1 contributed something useful to the rest of the Districts then maybe I would respect you more but you do not! There will never be any good blood between myself and the pompous fools in District 1 so if I'm my Districts tribute you better be wary.



I kind of like how my D4 persona sounds but he is too focused on pride. I know I made him but I didn't mean to make him like this but in a game like this it should be fine.

The way you speak makes me sick. You say that you do not think much of your selves but then you go pointing out short comings in the other districts. You must think we are complete idiots if you didn't think we would not notice. We know what televisions, lights, and refrigerators are, mainly from past champions but we know about them nonetheless .

You speak as if you are blissful and innocent but your District is full of liars that desire to win through the lies they feed the Sponsors. I do not have any respect for you and your District but that does not mean that I do not consider you a threat. Everyone in the Hunger Games is a threat and I shall always be wary of even if they seem pathetic.


Picking fights with other Districts is kinda fun for me right now and that is why I'm doing it other than it's what this persona would do.

Sad really, I thought for being the "smartest" you wouldn't flaunt your skills but I guess I was the fool for the moment I thought this but you are life long fools. In our District we don't use many of your inventions, we build most of our houses, wagons, and any other necessities that we can with our bare hands with whatever materials we find lying around the place. You also think that having three meals a day will make you stronger than us, I think not for the strongest of us, the ones who survive, eat enough to stay satisfied. We may not be full but we are not starving and we always have drive though we are lacking in passion for what we do since it is hard labor unlike what you do.


I have now attacked all the main statements, twice in the case of D1, and gave my own statement. My this is fun, I'm going to miss this banter once this begins, unless we can still do this after it begins.

For one so quick to decry the pride of the other districts, the pride you show in yours is the one -- by your own admission -- which drives you to handicap yourselves in a misguided attempt at nobility.
