I'm more upset that Wigan's going to escape another relegation scrap than Newcastle losing.

xfd, u mad? wigan is a squad with more class than any geordie will ever have. kudos to them and may we have many more years to come of the latics in the premier league!

Huh, Wilshere's struggling to recover pretty badly from the looks of it.

Yeah w/e he plays for a rival but I'm never fond of seeing guys potentially lose their careers.

On paper that's a pretty good signing, lots of german talent moving over to the Premiership.

Not sure if I want Goetze to come over though, if he did he'd probably play for Utd or City and that'd be terrible seeing a guy I really like play for em(or any london team not called Chelsea for that matter). Totally fine if Goetze stays at Dortmund and helps push that league to new heights.

United have been completely overrun in midfield, and then eventually worn down in defense. Smalling will take all the blame for letting Kompany get on the end of that corner, but that mistake was as much a symptom of the relentless pressure he and his defense have been under as anything else. I suppose Park was Fergie's "trump card" in the midfield battle, but he's struggled badly.

Be interesting to see how United come out in the second half, both tactically and mentally.

Just got back from a supposedly neutral bar while wearing a city shirt, which, expectedly, was filled with red devils. Thought better of overdoing the celebrations lest some drunk decide to make any trouble. Was expecting more goals than this tbh.

Both sides' lacked the finishing touch. Especially Kun. I was definitely worried when Mancini subbed in ndj, knowing that city sitting back would be exactly what united need to possibly nick one. I was even more worried when it's dangerman tevez who came off instead of sloppy kun. But the current best central defender in the premier league and city's standard bearer lucked the one goal that mattered the most.

Next Sunday is going to be a great watch, I think. First Man City play Newcastle (at 1:30pm UK time), then Man Utd play Swansea (4pm UK time), so Man U will know where they stand re points and GD going into the final game before they take to the pitch. I don't think it's at all beyond them to put 4-6 goals past Swansea.

Rene Higuita
Robert Enke
Neymar
Ganso
Abedi Pele
Gianfranco Zola
Johan Cruyff (imagine my shock when i discovered that he's the current manager of the catalonia national football team)
Christian Eriksen
Radamel Falcao

That's about it. The rest I've never really went to watch clips of them. Pele isn't on because I think his ego is too big for one whose era is long gone. Maradona isn't on because he's kinda crazy in a bad way.

Dixie Dee, Johan Cryuff, Marco Van Basten, Pele and most of the other brazilians that played during his time, because my Dad used to say they were fantastic >_>
Then a bunch of old Watford legends. Ross Jenkins, Tommy Mooney, Luther Blissett, John Barnes, Richard Johnson and Nigel Gibbs

Going through the old legends and all that I've seen some archive matches but those tend to realy be the big games.

Platini is def a guy I think I would have loved to have seen in his prime

Lineker, never really saw his Barca stuff but man his goalscoring prowess is kinda scary.

Osgood, before my time and prolly with Zola the greatest club legend.

Rikjaard and the other members of that dutch team, yeah when I was younger it was really premiership/internationals only.

Rush, in his prime dude seemed so scary to face unfortunately he was no longer in his prime by the time I could understand what good football was.

Beardsley, dude gets so hyped.

I'm generally more interested in the european guys, prolly cos of bias for the continent but I really do enjoy watching great european centric teams.

After maybe Crouch's... Because that was also EPIC.

I had a bet on a chelsea/newcastl draw, which was the best result i was hoping for, i came away pleasantly surprised and extraordinarily happy.

Jealous that you got to be part of Muamba's return XIII. I was feeling emotional for him just watching it on TV. Great recovery.
