With all this hype about bringing back Toonami, let's not forget the other great nostalgic television block... Nickelodeon's SNICK! Airing on Saturday nights from 1992-2004, SNICK was one of the great nostalgic experiences of our childhood, right up there with Toonami in terms of awesomeness. So I thought that we should settle once and for all what was the greatest block of all time. And how will we do that?
I'll take the top 11 SNICK shows (as nominated by you guys) and pair them off against the top 11 Toonami shows (also nommed by you guys) in a series of one-on-one votes to determine which block is truly the best.
Nomination process:
You MUST rank your top five SNICK shows AND your top five Toonami shows. You have to complete both lists. Rank them from 1st to 5th, your 1st show will get 5 points, your 2nd will get 4, and so on, down to 1 point for your fifth show.
When all is said and done, I'll rank the top 11 shows from each category and pair them off, with the top-ranking SNICK show facing the top-ranking Toonami show, and so on, down the line. The 11th SNICK show will face the 11th Toonami show and that matchup will be worth one point, then on the next day, the 10th SNICK show will face the 10th Toonami show and that matchup will be with two points, all the way up to 11 points going to the winner of the matchup between the top shows. If it's tied at 28, the tiebreaker will be number of matches won to determine a final winner.
Nominations will last one week, though I reserve the right to end it earlier (I'll give warning if I do).
Easy nomination form:
SNICK-
1. 2. 3. 4. 5.
Toonami-
1. 2. 3. 4. 5.

As long as I could be assured that people would familiarize themselves with both shows in the head-to-head matchups, I might open nomination to one category alone.
