I'll obviously research these types of diets before trying one, but I'd like to hear if anyone on B8 has tried one and how it worked for them.
FYI here's my story: I've lost decent weight over the past eight months (from 220 to 190), but I've plateaued recently, remaining at around 190 since I've gotten my new job, which has left me little time to hit the gym. I'm wondering if going low-carb is a healthy choice for both my short-term goals (go down to 180 and stay there with regular exercise) and long-term health.

i'm starting to go lower on wheat/grain carbs (but not veggie/fruit/dairy carbs)... but then, i think that any weight cut should probably come with a large amount of gym work
low calorie period is good for dropping weight, tbqh

Je suis toujours serieux. D'autrefois, personne ne me penserait serieusement.
Kind of? It's a heavily modified version of a low-carb/paleo diet.
I lost about 35~ pounds over the course of 10 months without exercise and 30-50% adherence during the first six or so months and like 0% adherence during December. No pants fit me anymore, even the ones I got during black friday.
If you're interested, I can give you details over AIM about 3ish hours from now. (newbie)

You're messing with me! You're messing with me, aren't you!? You're making fun of me, aren't you!? Aren't you!? You definitely are! I'll murder you!
I do lots of carbs, but the vast majority is whole wheat carbs. My understanding is that the whole wheat takes so much energy to process that it works out, and it provides vitamins to break down other stuff you eat.
I'm like 130 pounds so you know I know what I'm talking about.
