There are tons of games which potentially be great movies. It's just a matter of if they'd mess up or not. Uncharted is basically Indiana Jones. Metal Gear Solid would be awesome. Deus Ex.

Pretty much this 99% of games have horrible stories and I laugh whenever people say they played a game for the story. This is especially true recently since voice acting dramatically limits the amount of depth a story can have even in big budget games.

What's exactly is a good story? You don't have to have something incredibly deep to have a great story. As long as it flows smoothly, has great character interaction and is entertaining, you have a good story.
