and for that matter, how do you clean whatever they make computer monitor and hdtv screens out of now?

I use a bottle of Staples screen cleaning fluid for that kind of stuff with a microfiber cloth. I'm confident that the special cleaning fluid is overpriced, though, but I haven't gotten around to making my own. I've had no problems.

I never used it for cleaning a scanner, though. I think it should be fine, though.

well, occasionally dust from the air sneaks in, and I have cats that shed hair that sticks to everything via static electricity.

plus, I leave fingerprints easily if I accidentally touch the glass.

oh, yeah, my computer screen is in no way glass. I don't know what it is.
