Nothing wrong with tier lists for single player games. There is balance in those games just as there is in multiplayer games.

i dunno, i am fine with trying to rank characters based on how good they are, but that there are people who go into a game (where mashing square and triangle for 5 seconds can get you 100+ kills easily) looking for the "best" character to play seems kind of ridiculous.

I think she has one of the highest Magic stats in the game and you can get her early so it's possible to keep her stats really good.

Nah, I think Yuna is worse than Orlandu. Orlandu is gotten really late in the game and a generic can easily be just as broken as him by that point.

Yuna's Aeons are just stupidly good.

He's still ridiculous even with a rune blade. But yeah, I'm starting to feel the argument for Yuna...

Raph was the pro pick in Turtles in Time, and I think the differences between them were the same in Hyperstone Heist so there too. He had the worst defense, but if you're getting hit you're not pro. His speed was the best, and his dash attacks were GDLK. His special move was also the strongest, but I don't usually use those.

Don was Simple Mode in those games. His reach kept you safe, and even if you did get hit he had the best defense. But you couldn't feel good about yourself winning with him.

Leo was basically unplayable due to the fourth hit of his combo having absurd recovery due to making you hop. You would get hit before you landed 9 times out of 10.

Mike has the strongest normals and good everything else, and is, IMO, the pro player 2 pick.

Fang has the highest potential strength stat in the game, if I'm not mistaken. Don't quote me on that though.

Regardless, I wouldn't say she's the strongest simply because XIII uses a higher damage cap.

Most of FFX's cast can do some pretty beastly stuff, really.

Orlandu seems like the correct answer for Final Fantasy, if only because of how head-and-shoulders he is above everyone else.

Worth pointing out that most tier lists don't care about endgame performance. It's more about availability and immediate usefulness rather than some distant potential.
