Also thinking about getting a nice gaming keyboard, a new monitor, or something like that while I am shopping.

Get an SSD drive to put Windows and Steam games on, if you can.

Two GTX 570s? Wow! Are you guys gonna set up multiple monitors? If not that's serious overkill!

See I was debating this. I am not super familiar with SSD Drives. Can you kind of pitch it for me?

One last thing -- that's a great deal on the i7! Third-gen, very nice! The one I bought for my recently-assembled PC was second-gen, still quite beautiful, but just as expensive.

It makes Windows faster than f***, I can definitely attest to this.

You put your OS and Steam on there and your PC is seriously monstrously quick at so many things. Pile all your stuff onto the HDD.

SSD drives are a pretty good buy.

If you have Windows on it, your computer boots and is ready to go in around 30 seconds instead of a couple of minutes. I recently got a small SSD with just Windows and SC2 on it and there's a huge improvement.

But seriously, two 570s. Please tell me you're doing multiple monitors here. If not then...

An SSD drive will severely decrease your boot time and load times in games, assuming the games are stored on that drive. They're pretty expensive compared to regular HDs, so it doesn't make sense to store most files there (yet), but a 128 gig drive should be more than enough for Windows and the games you're playing at the moment. They're less likely to fail than a regular drive as there are no moving parts, and it's just a good idea to have two drives in a computer that powerful just in case something goes wrong.

Okay I have been swayed. I already have an older 1tb drive I was going to use and I am somewhat good at deleting useless stuff so I'll keep that as my "stuff goes here" drive and use the SSD for the stuff you suggested.

Also threw in a 180 dollar (normally 230) monitor in there upon Jeff's comment of why am I getting such an awesome computer if I don't have two monitors.

Yeah, that's what he explained to me. Can't argue with results, admittedly!

My single 560 Ti and i7 2600k are already going to be seeing a couple of years into the future. Chris is going to take things to the next level!
