Earlier this year I was mulling an idea of giving away a prize for voting every day in User of the Year, and so here we are.
For those of you without the benefit of ever talking to me or following this raffle in the slightest this is going to be a reverse raffle, where I will draw a name and that person will be eliminated from the raffle. I would like to thank the following 45 (unless Carvy chokes that would be amazing) for voting every day. It isn't hard but a lot of people were not able to do it, so there's that. Day one had nearly 120 votes, and from there the voters kept dropping more and more until the top ten where not a single person (again, Carvy) was eliminated. I will note people were shocked and dismayed that the only way to win this was going to be luck.
Explaining how this works: I will be using random.org. Before every drawing I will be random the list and then I will ask for a random number between 1 and the number of people left. That person who is drawn is eliminated. I am not sure if there is some much more clever way to do this but that is what I have intended for awhile now.
You are, of course, free to accuse me of rigging this in some fashion. What would anything with User of the Year be without CORRUPTION.
I have been accused of running this for multiple reasons. Some say I did it to win User of the Year. If that is the case 300 dollars well spent! Some think I am just stupid. Those people deserve shiny medals of correctness, I suspect.
Really, and the final word I will ever speak on the matter, is that I just like to be generous when I can be and I wanted to support Lefty's hosting of User of the Year. So if you voted every day thank you so much for making Lefty's first year as host so successful, I truly appreciate it and I am sure Lefty does too, even if you guys collectively roughed him up a bit.
Okay I think I have put you through enough of my talk to say the winner has more than earned a 300 dollar game package of some sort or something along those lines.

XIII, while he broke the rules, never had a vote discounted.
I was doing fine until I assumed the contest rules were the same as the raffle rules. I would never let something like voter's integrity stand in the way of the Big Bucks. =/

Also I clearly stated what the raffle rules, especially the part about abstains. It was specifically mentioned, there was no way I could not have eliminated you.

Note: What this means is if you want to get your jollys off trolling a board user, do it to someone who doesn't know your routine. Because we both know I like Zea much more than I could ever like XIII. I would soak XIII in flames and set him on fire just to amuse me!
No what I am saying is I obviously had a change of heart on the matter when XIII pointed out it didn't make sense. If anyone else was DQ'd for rallying I would have probably came to the same logical conclusion.

Speaking as somebody who was offered a bribe to tally eliminations, I feel that the integrity of that bribe is compromised by the suspicions that XIII was also being bribed.
