- Falcon Talons added to story mode - Increased level cap in multiplayer - New stage added to deathmatches - Fixed the bugs that caused certain Ninja Trails to freeze up (Leader 1, Master 2, Master 3) - Fixed glitch sometimes causing the Lone Ninja trophy to not appear
my experience with the Falcon Talons so far is that the attack speed is slower than the sword, but you can catch more enemies in your attacks and some moves like the on-landing 360 spin attack are more effective because Ryu sort of homes in on the enemy by spinning towards them instead of spinning in place like you do with the sword.
they're fun as an alternative, but I think I'll stick with the sword because of the attack speed
Rad Link 5 posted... Didn't this game just come out?
it's been out for 2 weeks now
patch 1.01 came out right at launch and fixed a lot of weird issues that online multiplayer was having, but that patch also messed up those 3 ninja trials and made them freeze.
then patch 1.02 today with the fixes and additions listed plus the DLC coming tonight.
I'd recommend giving it a shot! As long as you don't play on Easy or Normal it's really not that much different from the past 2 games and the online multiplayer is addictive.
I did give normal a shot though and you literally could play the whole game just hitting one button and barely taking any damage so I can see where those complaints came from if that's all they played.
Bidoof posted... Oh notSHINE, I think I'll just wait for the inevitable Ninja Gaiden 3: Chrome Delta or whatever.
That would be Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge for Wii U. I imagine that'll have all the DLC released included. Don't know if they'll be adding extra content other than that though.
