Hopefully before 2013 ends. Ideally I will get a job or two or three, and then I'll get money, and then I'll have enough to go to Comic-Con. But I'm really freakin' stupid and don't even know, like... anything. Do I have to buy tickets? Are the locations always the same or does it change?

Basically, if anyone could be so kind as to do their best to enlighten someone completely stupid on this subject, I would appreciate it.

I don't know much, but I do know you have to buy tickets and that they usually sell out extremely quickly. I'm certain that 2012 tickets have long been sold out. Your best bet is to check their site for when 2013 tickets go on sale and mark that down on your calendar.

It's in San Diego every single year.

And only in San Diego? I thought it was in a few different locations.

There are tons of different cons. I know there's a New York comic con and a "Dragon Con" somewhere in the South. There's also a bunch of anime cons and stuff, but the big one, the one that gets all the media coverage and big-name celebs, is the San Diego Comic Con. That one is in San Diego every summer.

Ah, okay. Then I guess that's the one I need to go to.

I've decided to start somewhat of a bucket list. I'm about to turn 22 and I really haven't done much at all. I need to travel some more. Of course I need to get a job or two or three and my life on track first and foremost. But after that, I need to stop worrying about finding the "one". I'm too young for that even though I already thought I found her and uh... this was not the point of this topic.

Anyway, yeah. Comic-Con. So do tickets usually go on sale about the same time every year, or does it vary?

I regret that in all my years living in San Diego, I only ever went once.

I've just heard from podcasts of people going ha, but yeah apparently hotels sell out quick around there too and are pricey. Definitely an impressive pilgrimage.

Well one of these days I will visit San Diego for Comic-Con and you should go with me. It'd complete even more of my "bucket list". I've already met a couple B8ers, but I'd still like to meet more. And going to Comic-Con with one would be damn fun as hell. Think about it.
