Starts with crazy distorted bass what can go wrong?
The top comment is weird though because 'i like how they%uFEFF can re-invent themselves every time and not only make it sound great but also keep it original and new... i dare you to find anyone else do what they've done on this EP.' is completely over the top. The first thing I thought of with this track was that it was a throwback to experimental 90s rock. Which is cool, but not original.

Boredoms - Cory & The Mandara Suicide Pyramid Action or Gas Satori

I have heard a lot about this band. Especially that they're weird. Oh look they're japanese that explains it. This was funky and weird. I expect they're kind of like Boris/Mike Patton/everyone in that avantgardish rock clique with the fact that they're extremely diverse on every track. The problem with those bands for me is that they're very hit and miss. This was kind of in between a hit and a miss, I could see it growing on me. If you thought this was going to blow my mind or something though I must disappoint you, I've heard weird music before!

Botch - C. Thomas Howell as the 'Soul Man'
This is not the metalcore I'm familiar with. The music itself was original (as in I could tell this band apart from all the others I've heard), had a groovy feel with the distorted bass and the guitars didn't sound completely metallic. It also didn't have a lame ass pop punk chorus like a lot of songs my brother/cousin listen to do. As you know I am not a fan of bands/songs where there's nothing else but shouting/screaming/growling/whatever though. I feel like that kind of gives songs an over the top anger feel and it doesn't seem genuine to me. Not to mention the fact that it gets on my nerves.


Owsley - I'm Alright
Starts off with one of the most overused chord progression ever. Which is not a bad thing itself if you do something with it. They don't.
