Sure, it's not amazing as the first, and the songs aren't as good, but it's still pretty great.

Simba fail, music fail, quality fail.
Some of the new characters were ok though. Kiara is believable as Simba's kid imo. Zira is just a Scar ripoff. Kovu is meh. Zira's two kids are alright for what they are though. I like some of the music but it absolutely ruins Scar's character and the plot of the original if you read between the lines. It's kind of implied that Scar is impotent in the original film, and his treatment of the lionesses back at Pride Rock doesn't make nearly as much sense if you take Scar's "oh btw, I'm a dad" factor into account.
I don't think that makes it a terrible movie, but yeah. Still kinda annoying. -- I <3 my N64 ... Copied to Clipboard!
