I have to say
Guilty Gear is probably my least played fighting game
I am SO not used to this engine. Running and air dashing everywhere
not used to the button layout
unsure of what I'm capable of
not used to the terminology (DISTORTIONS ARE SUPER COMBOS, DAMMIT)
its really a whole new world. if I play a new fighting game, I get can by on my own grits but it just doesn't happen here!
I've only played story mode, Ragna's to be exact.
Now this is one annoying thing. I complete games. playing through the story DOESN"T get you completion. You apparently have to unlock EVERY piece of dialog to do that. theres different paths you can take while playing, but the problem is, its very vague. you apparently have to be specific in how you defeat your enemies and in what you do. AND they even require to you LOSE to every character since that brings up unique dialog. I dislike this VN approach.
but other than not being used to it and the story mode being a pain in the ass to complete, its pretty neat. I really do enjoy the graphics, the music is amazing, and the gameplay doesn't seem bad so far.
I hear its kinda broken but I haven't gotten to that yet.
btw I'm playing CT on the 360
wheee
