It does lack a lot of the style of the previous games, and the setting and Man On Fire-ish plot doesn't seem to suit Max. And plus the lack of involvement from writer Sam Lake and Remedy...

Could still be cool, but not everything about it looks awesome call me old fashioned.

Man, this reminds me so much of The Specialists.

I'm looking forward to it especially since it may make amends to Max Payne as a series after 2 let me down.

Seriously, if I wanted to play Max Payne 2, I'd just play Max Payne 1. 2 regurgitated the same inner conflicts of 1 in a story that kept Max almost entirely static from beginning to end. It felt like a sidestory at best instead of a proper sequel that builds and expands on anything the first game made aside from gameplay.

The gameplay looks incredible, which is what is most important. It's still Rockstar so I'm sure the plot will be fine.
