128 of the most prominent Song of Ice and Fire characters have been placed in a bracket to see who the best character GRRM has ever created is! The most votes per round wins. The contest will continue until the most popular character in Westeros is crowned!!!
This contest can be found on 3 different boards, but only one vote per user will be accepted. The two boards are: Books and Literature, Gamefaqs Contests, and PotD. Any suspicious votes will be discounted. Each character will be supplied with a link to Wiki Song of Ice and Fire that briefly describes them and their accomplishments throughout the series. Theres a lot of characters in this series, my hope is that these links will remind users who did what and when.
If there are any further questions please feel free to ask and I will be happy to answer!!
~ Ygritte surprisingly pounds Rickon harder than her first round opponent. Rickon was way overseeded. Embarassing. You know nothing Jon Snow. ~ Tyrion nails a perfect in round 1, though some were apparently tempted to vote against him. ~ Greatjon comes from behind and outlasts Margaery. This is a disappointing result for me. I feel like very few women in this contest will get respect. But, I also have to agree that Greatjon is badass and needs to make a comeback in the story. ~ Hodor gets quite a challenge from Bowen Marsh. That would have been an upset I'd be ok with. ~ Poor Rhaegar, tough draw.

Do you think cats are clever? They don't hold a candle to dogs and SuperNiceDog is the cream of the crop since he won the Guru contest without breaking a sweat.
(6)Jon Connington - I don't know why, but Jon Connington very quickly became one of my favourite characters. Possibly 'cause he's one of the few people in DwD who did something interesting. (22)Brynden Tully - really, really tough draw for Jeor. The Blackfish is too good. (3)Sansa Stark - Hope Sansa doesn't get too much hate in this contest, great character. (14)Beric Dondarrion - Janos is surprisingly good as a slimey ****, but does he have a cool nickname? Didn't think so! (7)Quentyn Martell - Quentyn got off easy here. Howland's fine, but he barely features. Think Quentyn's overseeded and that'll show next round. (10)Kevan Lannister - Kevan is awesome. One of the real stars of the later books, despite his lack of screentime as it were. (2)Cersei Lannister - Biter's nice and despicable, but Cersei's more despicable, and is far less one-dimensional. (18)Vargo Hoat - Don't like "introverted psychic kid" as a character type, and Vargo is a good villain, albeit a very minor one.

Agreed, Greatjon's cool and I don't begrudge him a place in the next round but Margaery's so much more interesting as a character. Still, can't get too annoyed about it, 'cause Greatjon is indeed awesome. Just hope that's not a trendsetter of a match!

(6)Jon Connington (11)Jeor Mormont (30)Euron Greyjoy (14)Beric Dondarrion (26)Howland Reed (10)Kevan Lannister - his verbal smackdown of Cersei alone makes him a top tier character (2)Cersei Lannister (15)Jojen Reed
