Worth playing? I got it from my friend who received it as a gift a few years ago but, well, he doesn't and has never had a DS so he just gave it to me.

It's, uh, different. Don't expect anything great, just a really easy real-time 'strategy' game.

I thought it was an SRPG not an RTS

Nope. Well, it's not your typical SRPG, but I guess it might be labeled as that. Everything is in real-time, and you command a bunch of monsters.

Worth playing if you think you can stomach more Vaan and Penelo. They are a lot better than in FFXII though, not that it's saying much.

I've never played FFXII though they were tolerable in FFTA2
