Lazy as it may be, I like being able to refresh my browser at the push of a button. But it seems like every laptop I run into has to connect the F5 button to some other function. If I want to use it to refresh, I have to hold down the function (fn) key... which is bad enough by itself, but it seems like it's the ONLY f-key that needs it.
Oh, you want to close the tab? No problem! Go full screen? Go right ahead! Refresh the page? Oh, sorry, you need a second button for that.
Why?
WHY!?

There never was a post. Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and refracted the light from Venus.
This is pretty annoying. Mine was set up like this when I first bought it. You should be able to flip the functions so that the other things are tied to fn, and refresh as just f5, though. Just look for instructions on google or something for your model laptop.

That's what I had to do. Unfortunately the volume controls are on there, and I use those a lot too, so now I need to hit Fn for that instead. <_< But I really need F keys for my emulators, that'd be a lot more annoying to have to press Fn with than volume or any problems I had with refreshing before (I'd probably just go with CTRL-R if that's all I used F-keys for).
