yesss finally got through. no idea how i missed that door before. anyway this time i accidentally found the control room before getting the key - fortunately, knew the key well enough based on where i came out and was able to get it barely in time (and barely surviving the onslaught)

having a lot of fun and don't feel this game has aged much at all. also, those sunglasses dudes dual-wielding dd44's will give me PTSD. also, i wish i could be bulletproof like natalya. <_<

Were you destroying the cameras before they set off the alarm? They are objectives on harder difficulties, but killing them on Agent really helps, as it stops the nasty enemies from snowballing into you repeatedly.

i wound up destroying a few but generally i'd mostly notice 'em after they spotted me and the alarm actually went off. often had to blow them up under fire

also, couldn't figure out where f***ing ANYTHING was in the statue level. all i achieved was the conversation with valentin. goddamn those enemies were relentless.

best way to do Statue on agent in my experience is to just make a bunch of mad dashes, ignoring the enemy wherever possible.

I think I once cleared it without firing more than a couple shots but it's been a while

It looks odd, but the map is mostly a straight corridor. It's easy to get turned around as you're fighting enemies, but if you largely ignore them it shouldn't be a problem.
