I'm still not seeing it, the CDI games were nightmarish. I've always thought Goblins had great art, better even than most actual comics I've read (say, The Walking Dead, as an example)

All this discussion about CDI Zelda and webcomics have got me thinking what a CDI Zelda webcomic would be like. This has nothing to with what you all are talking about, I just thought I'd make everyone else think about it, too.

Sweet Bro and Hella Jeff would still be the best worst webcomic, though.

Okay I have no connection to Goblins at all and think this whole drama is pretty silly.

But I have to say, that art is pretty bad indeed. Worse than the vast majority of major webcomics I've seen, and by a long way. The CDI Zelda comparison is pretty accurate.

There was a ballsload of Homestuck cosplay as Sakura-con. It was the most popular thing to cosplay by several orders of magnitude.

I like how they used a photo of someone cosplaying one of the most obscure Homestuck characters for an article about an anime convention.

Hussie is proud to have ruined anime forever.

People on formspring used to ask Hussie questions on formspring about anime and he gave trademark sarcastic remarks. Someone asked him about Discworld and he said he'd never heard of that anime.

There's a bunch of weird formspring memes, some of which actually made it into the comic....like Vriska being his wife.

Formspring had some pretty funny stuff on there but unfortunately he deleted both of them. :\

So what's all this drama about the comixmix tourny? The only thing I could get from various sources is Tom was getting threats and Goblin fans are extremely angry cause of an insane GKC fan tried to call rape on Goblins.

Poor Tom, man, the dude doesn't even think his comic is worth the spot it's at. The guy's way too modest.

Basically, a girl radically misinterpreted the most recent page of Goblins, thinking it was a joke about a girl getting raped (it was in fact a about another guy getting beat up by demons, really she was just an idiot) and she called the creator a rape sympathizer. The Goblins creator defended himself, but of course things snowballed out of control pretty fast. Trolls on both sides attacked everyone, and used all sorts of BS to justify calling the other side a bunch of stuff. Tom was later called out on not 'controlling his fans' but this is again just a small minority of trolls

It was grade-school drama on the interwebs. I didn't see anything about Tom being threatened though, it was really only the original girl who claimed that people were threatening her but she had a really victimized attitude from the beginning and has a proven history of misinterpreting things.

I don't even think I was this anxious for an update at the time I was waiting for [S] Cascade. Granted, I wasn't in as much of a motivational slump and was actually doing more stuff to keep myself entertained at the time. 10 days still shouldn't feel like two months.

I really hope that by "begin on 4/13" he meant that he was going to post a huge flash at midnight tonight. I think I've used up most of the Homestuck/Sadstuck tagged music videos on youtube. I even played a kind of Dress Up Vriska flash that I found on Skaia.

Probably the most efficient thing to do is to just post it immediately at midnight to stop the mad refreshing brigade right there. I would have suggested that he put up a message saying "the update won't come at midnight but instead some other time of the day so just wait for it" but that won't stop the F5s.

The internet is going to crash regardless of when he puts it up.
