Board 8 > Couple of Mass Effect 3 questions (NO SPOILERS please)

I'm insanely paranoid about spoilers, so daren't go near any official board, or even the main ME topic.

So, here goes:

1) Are there any serious consequences for breaking up a romance from ME1? I want to dump Liara for Tali (after staying faithful in ME2, because FemShep/Tali wasn't an option then), but not if it's going to make Liara leave the Normandy or something.

2) I've done the Eden Prime mission and got Javik on the Normandy, but can't select him to take on a mission (his silhouette is there, but not clickable). What else do I need to do, or has something gone wrong?

don't know about 1 but you should be able to use javik on the next mission, i know i did.

1) Wait, FemShep can romance Tali in ME3? I was not aware of this at all. Anyway, Liara won't leave the Normandy if you tell her that you want to be friends. She just gets depressed for a little bit.

2) There's definitely something wrong there. He was available for me right after. Maybe go talk to him in his area of the Normandy? I'm not sure.

Tali is an option for FemShep in ME3? Are you sure?

And Javik isn't available for the Palaven mission. He says he's recovering but I think it's just because he has no dialogue recorded for that mission.

1. Don't think Tali is an option for FemShep, but all it does is affect a few dialogue options. For example, if you romanced Liara in ME1 and Tali in ME2, Liara and Tali will have a conversation about how Tali thinks Liara still has feelings for Shepard and spies on him.

2. Javik isn't available until after Palaven, even if you recruit him beforehand. If you recruit him after Palaven, he's automatically available.
