Mine has to be when people speed up for no reason to get one spot better when lanes merge. Happens all the time and luckily I'm such a great driver that we don't crash but wtf is wrong with people.
Today for example. Merging lane is coming up. There's about three cars ahead of me that are merged. I'm alone in the right lane and there's a car about 15 feet in front of me and another 20 feet behind me. The road is about to merge, I have my signal on and in my side mirror I just see the car behind me just speed the hell up to get in front of me for no reason. I tried to bluff them by moving over more but they just kept coming so I swerved into the shoulder as they just flew by. This happens all the time but usually not that bad.

When people in the lane next to you speed up really fast just to hit the brakes like 1.5 seconds later because there were only about 4 car lengths between them and the car in front of them.
I don't think it's possible to be intelligent and do this.

People who don't use their blinkers. I understand if it's 3am and nobody is on the road but if you're going to switch lanes at 5:00 on the highway, just do it.
Mmm...probably either the aforementioned not doing the speed limit in a no passing zone, or me keeping a safe driving distance from the car in front of me and watching cars butt into that.

But I think I hate the "psyche I'm really not that slow" drivers the most. Like, if you go to pass them on a highway, they speed up really fast, slow down so you catch up to them again like a minute later, speed up really fast when you try to pass them again, and the process repeats either until the end of time or until you run them off the road and set their car on fire.

People who accelerate until they have to brake. Like, they can never just coast up to the car in front, or to a T-junction - they will be gaining in speed right till the last moment and then slam the brakes. So dangerous, and so uncomfortable to be driven by someone doing it.

Although slow drivers in the no-pass zone is bad, I think the worst are people who block traffic trying to cut into another lane. My lane is wide open and I can't drive down it because some a****** is trying to cut in line.
People who slow down or disrupt the flow of traffic in general are awful (rubberneckers included)

People who refuse to change their speed when my turn signal to merge into their lane has been on for the past 15 minutes and they don't seem to realize that they need to slow the **** down a tiny bit or speed the **** up and get past me so I can get into the ****ing lane.
People who slowly move into the turning lane over the course of like thirty feet and slow down the entire time. Get into the turning lane entirely, that's why it's there.
And people who change lanes then signal for like half a second halfway through the lane change. Ugh.
Eh, can't really say pet peeve so much as mild annoyance.
People who block my view when I'm trying to turn left or people in the middle of the road when I'm trying to turn left. I know they have places to go as well and are trying to get there, it's just annoying that I have to wait for them in order to see/move safety.

So you have a guy in front of you who won't speed up, and then a guy behind you riding your ass trying to get YOU to speed up, only you CAN'T because there's a guy in front of you! And if you ever get a little closer to the guy in front, like in an attempt to put even a minimal distance between you and the guy behind you, you can damn sure bet that he'll just eat up that distance and stay on your ass. So you can't maintain proper distance from the guy in front of you OR the guy behind you.

I was in a situation like this once, and it was like 3 blocks from my house.
I took my foot off the gas and just coasted the rest of the way to piss him off as much as possible.

when i'm sitting in a turn around, waiting to make a left into the closest lane and someone pulls up to make a left in a farther lane, completely obstructing my vision so i have to wait for all traffic to be clear so they can go, so i can finally see oncoming traffic again.

Second worst... when I pull over to get into the slow lane for my exist, plenty of room behind me, and a guy speeds up, but will then turn on his blinker like I'm going to let him in. You knew what you were doing, just pull in behind the line because I am not letting you in just so you don't feel like you wasted your time being dumb.
