Currently the record is 67.5 hours in Joust, though technically it has an asterisk because a power failure occurred in the middle or something like that. So technically he might already have the record but within two hours he'll have beaten that number anyway so he'll have it 100% for sure.

The Q*Bert score record is his next goal after that (the person that got it used a quicker, more reckless strategy from what I gather).

Unfortunately Q*Bert doesn't have a kill screen so you can't go to other twitch streams and say "There's a potential Q*Bert kill screen coming up, if any of you guys are interested" and actually mean it for once

So somebody is awake and playing an arcade game for 67.5 hours? That'd be impressive even if they died constantly in the game.

Well it's a single credit so they can't even die ever

I know, I'm just sayin' that extra crazy, to play an arcade game nonstop for days you'd have to be some kinda machine. Ha add not dying on top of that, that's just crazy.

no, he can die plenty. He's stocked up probably hundreds of lives thanks to his score.

The way it works he can take breaks, where you leave the game running and just let your stock of lives run down a bit while you eat, pee, whatever. What people in the stream have said is that the Guinness rules allow for five minute breaks per hour, but those can stack if you choose not to use them, so you can take a longer break later if you want.

Iiinteresting. As long as he's not sleeping, I'm still mindblowingly impressed.

His joystick has been giving him problems over time, 67 hours straight of gameplay will do that I think

He got the time record, but ran out of lives before reaching the score record.
