And then they ALWAYS get it for you.

I was hanging out my friend and his girlfriend a month ago and she asked if I wanted Coke and I told her I do not like Coke or Pepsi and then said Sprite when they asked what kind of soda I do like. Now anytime I ever go over they always say... WE GOT SPRITE or my friend tells me if he told his girl I was coming over she would say well I better go get some Sprite then!

I know it's nice and people like to please others but why do they feel I need this all the ****ing time?

The worst is when you say you prefer one thing over another, but other people interpret what exactly you prefer about that thing as something completely different, and then they seek out something that has this irrelevant characteristic and buy it for you saying "oh, you like that one thing, and this is similar to that one thing, so you must like this!"

My mom did this to me. I like egg nog so now if it's on the shelf at the grocery store she gets it for me when I visit. This wouldn't be so bad except nobody at her house likes it, I live 3 hours away from her and she always buys a big ass carton of it. I can't drink half a gallon of eggnog in one sitting, Mom.

What I hate is when people offer you something, and you're like "No thanks, I'm fine" and they keep offering it to you, as if you've passed up on the opportunity of a lifetime.

Egg nog is sooooo good!

But I can't drink too much at once either. I don't know if its too sweet or too thick but after around a cup of the stuff I have to drink some water or something.


But I could probably drink half a gallon in 8oz isntallments as long as I waited at least 30 minutes between.

One time in high school, my friend was having a team dinner at his house and asked what he should get. I said "wings". I wasn't even a big fan of wings at the time, I just thought they were ace for a party.

Apparently he told his mom that I liked wings, so pretty much every time I have been there in the last 8 years I have arrived to find that wings were acquired for my visit.

That reminds me, I'm hungry, I should go visit him...

I think it's the thickness. It's the same reason that chugging milk is a bad idea.

I remember my aunt once asked me "do you like prawns?"
I said "they're alright. I'll eat them.".
Neither her, her husband or her son eat them, but every time I stayed over she always used to buy prawns because I once said they were alright.
