I'm really digging Amalur. Witcher 2 does look cool, though I wasn't that into the first one.

Apparently TW2 is amazing but I can't run it on my PC so I haven't tried it.

Amalur is hella fun, though more of an Action-RPG than a WRPG.

The Witcher 2 blew my mind when I played it


Definately the second best RPG to come out last year.

I'm pretty much in the same exact boat. I think I'm gonna go with Witcher 2, though. It seems like a game I'd spend a lot more time with, and have more fun with. The KoA demo made it seem way too Fable-y for my tastes.

Witcher 2 was great on PC, and the DLC that they're gonna throw in (for free) with the 360 game is pretty awesome.


It's one of those games that you can tell a lot of love went into. Hopefully the 360 version retains that feel.

Well, I'm playing the KOA demo on PC, and I'm pretty sure I have to pass on this game, just for the camera alone. The zoom level is really weird and super close, and it's giving me a headache. Looking at some other forums, I'm not the only person who feels this way. It's really bad. Not sure if it's the same on consoles...

Only thing I don't like about the camera is how it zooms out like crazy when you fight.

And how it takes so long for it to go back behind your character.

Yeah, I wasn't a fan of that either.

I just lowered the sensitivity on the camera and it fixes a lot of the issues with the sensitivity.

didn't like the Amalur demo at all. Mainly the camera and I felt the controls were just too loose.

go with Witcher 2!

While I'm playing Kingdoms of Amalur on 360 and am fine with the close-ish camera, I've seen on PC threads people change the field of view and zoom it out etc, there are plenty of ways around that.
