Before I make the first update, need a final say on how scoring should work, go to the spreadsheet linked below, and look at the 3 scoring setups I listed underneath the standings. Pick which one you like the most.
I would prefer if there was more of a discrepancy between the points for top 3 or 4 and the rest so it rewards people more for actually placing higher/winning.
I'm definitely happy with the way things have started. My bracket was much better than last year and I wanted to do well here since I'm a little concerned about my baseball draft and the fact that I know nothing about Euro and UFC stuff, heh.

Trying to decide on the format and the where Just the PPV matches, or include some or all of the preliminaries Should I have the picks in here, or in separate topics?
If I do separate topics, I could let whoever wanted to pick compete as well, as a way of having the topic bumped more. And it would be easy to at the end of the year to have a separate standings for us
Just the PPV matches. There's like six or seven PPVs in a year, and the main cards have five matches each. That will give a nice number at the end of the year. Plus, I'm not sure anybody has extensive enough knowledge for the prelim fights to be more than a crapshoot.
Picks in a separate topic are probably best. PMs to all the league participants to notify them it's up, and sure let anyone else participate for funsies and discussion, but just keep standings of those in the league.
You could do a point system, not sure how easy it would be to keep track of, but kind of like. You pick a fighter and then a confidence number afterwards. The person with the most points wins the pickem.
Pretty standard, like below.
Fight 1: Fighter A - 3 points Fight 2: Fighter A 4 points Fight 3: Fighter B 2 points Fight 4: Fighter B 1 point Fight 5: Fighter A 5 points
I'm not the biggest fan of confidence in this situation, but I'd follow along if it was the higher demand. If the issue is a wanted tiebreaker, I'd say we could predict the Fight of the Night for each card, as well as which fight will have the Knockout of the Night and Submission of the Night (or stating if there won't be one on the card).

if we want a tie breaker, whoever got the most right for the last set of picks, and if thats tied, then whoever got the most right in the previous set of picks, etc etc
basically it puts slightly more importance on the games at the end of the season, so you can get pseudo playoffs
