Why are sequels inherently bad and original IPs should be automatically praise?

Gaming is the one type of media where it makes sense to have sequels. You can look at what you did wrong in the first game and what went right, you fix the mistakes and strengthen the things that went well. It's why so many series have great direct sequels. Assassin's Creed, Uncharted, Mass Effect, Half-Life, Super Smash Bros. And unlike movies, who have a tendency to suffer after the first sequel, games can push out sequels so far down the line and still have great games because of this fact.

Maybe it's not what you meant, but saturated means that we have reached the max level of sequels that the market can handle, which quite a silly notion as there's no real limit to how many sequels can be in the market without oversaturation.

Saturated means something is imbued completely with something else, and that it could not accept any more without reaching a level of oversaturation.
