I'm digging it, but where the hell is my Linkification? I can't live like this. Is there a Linkification-esque add-on that's compatible with the newest version?

GameFOX has the option to automatically convert links, if you're only worried about GameFAQs

I imagine that 95% of the time it's GameFAQs but I'd rather cover all my bases. Apparently the only problem with older versions of Linkification is that there's a piece of the code that indicates it's only good through a particular main version. Since Mozilla has gotten into the habit of releasing a completely new version every other day, Linkification can't keep up. So I just need to place an essentially bootlegged version of Linkification into my hidden add-ons folder manually, which is a little obnoxious but whatever.

Well, if you're only really worried about it on GameFAQs, there's a Linkification setting in Message Board Settings now.

It turns out that the normal version of Linkification that Firefox says you can't install actually does work just fine, you just have to ignore Firefox's protests and install it anyways. Woo.
