Board 8 > How is SC IV's character creator compared to V's?

I'm not a fighting game fan, but the custom creations for V are incredible, and I'm tempted to buy the game just to mess around with it.

But that would be silly while it's still new and expensive, so I'll wait. In the meantime, is IV's anywhere near as good? I'm in the mood to tinker with some character ideas, and for some reason The Sims 3 has stopped working.

I haven't actually played V, but having seen SCV promo videos for it and having used SCIV's I'd be pretty confident in saying "not near as good"
