CII: Lulu - 1st
CIII: Porom - 14th
CIV: Ramza Beoulve - 16th
CV: Reno - 1st
CVI: Seymour Guado - 35th
CVII: Black Mage - 4th
CVIII: Balthier Bunanza - 1st
CIX: Palom - 5th
CX: Fujin - 16th
CXI: Setzer Gabbiani - 26th
CXII: Ultros - 53rd
CXIII: Lightning - 2nd

The most interesting being that both Palom and Porom topped a class.

raytan himself saved Ultros seconds early, right near the end of the round, followed by at least 1 person who had been saving Ultros in other rounds but didn't because he thought he was safe. followed by a huge argument from me, that being my first contest (that i actually remember anyway. might have saved a handful of times combined in previous years) and first lawyering.

if you're talking about last contest, Edgar's elimination was a plain old regular lawyering with an early save. i was the one who saved Sephiroth.

i think there were deletions near the end of the round when Basch was eliminated, but that it would have happened anyway. and i definitely remember something with Cid and Sephiroth and Dante.

Dante saved Cid to end a round but immediately deleted and saved Sepiroth, claiming he didn't know it was down to just those two, and this was allowed. raytan didn't make a ruling change, so the next round had a flurry of deletions at the end of the round (led by User, i think. not sure about this) that eventually somehow resulted in Gilgamesh's elimination. Porom i think was a regular lawyering like Edgar.

The "flurry of deletions" had nothing to do with me. In fact, I have never post deleted in a round where others also post deleted.

No, Lulu and Reno definitely came first. Lulu was a weird combination of things happening and Reno was fresh off of AC and CloudxReno.

I had no part in any deletion-related events. I once or twice deleted my post because it was too early and re-saved after the time elapsed. Other than that, I have had no part in anything deletion-related.
