-It's not one of the strongest Bug types, it's not one of the strongest Poison types, and it's not even one of the strongest Bug/Poison types... but damnit, I ****ing love Ariados all the same. Until Stoutland blessed us with his presence, Ariados was actually my overall favorite Pokemon, but #2 certainly isn't bad at all - especially since it gets to be #1 on this list!
First and foremost, it really isn't as bad as people say. Toxic Spikes, Spider Web, Agility and Baton Pass make it a decent supporter, and it has a nifty physical movepool to take advantage of its solid Attack stat with. That having been said though, I mainly like Ariados for two reasons. The first is its design: it somehow manages to be vicious and endearing at the same time, its colors are strikingly vibrant, and it too has a pimp-purple shiny.
Most importantly of all, though, this was my flagship Pokemon on my Gold cart, as well as my HeartGold one. I've had a blast battling with it, and competing with it in the Pokeathalon... so yeah, all that nostalgia boosts it to #1, barely edging out Drifblim. As cool as Galvantula is, let's face it: it's just Ariados's less awesome brother.

-Suor and cody tied with 3 points each. -XIII, despite just posting a favorites list, managed to get a cool 4 points! -mnkboy, helped by his correct Banette and Ariados predictions, was able to get 7 points... -...but starfox barely edged him out, getting 8 points!
Congrats, starfox! This means you get my signature for a week... as long as you keep it in good taste, y'know? :P

And yeah, a pretty good list overall. A few questionable rankings throughout, but it kinda looks like if a Pokemon has some sort of pimp purple form then it automatically boosts it a couple of spots.

I knew Honchkrow had a pimp shiny, but I totally forget that Sharpedo and Ariados did until I was doing their write-ups. I lol'd when I realized it!

But... I keep trying to come up with some Starfox-related pun to combine with Boscopinions but... everything I can come up with sounds so stupid.
Perhaps if your Boscopinions had barrel rolled, I my predictions would have been deflected.
Haha, excellent point about Drifblim! I'm gonna try to think of a Star Fox pun... though the deflected predictions one isn't too bad, if you want to use that!
