Finally got to go to the doctor.

Had an earwax build up throwing off my equilibrium, AND have the stomach flu, AND have an ear infection.

Have to be on antibiotics for a week, and nausea medicine every 8 hours as needed.

How often did you clean your ears before learning of this?

I did go to a clinic, was about $100 for the visit and $40 for the meds

I'd cleaned them before because of a wax buildup, but I don't think it ever really got it out >.<

Try cleaning your ears more than once a week, every time you shower. And you thought mom was kidding when she said, clean your ears.

Who the hell doesn't use Q-Tips after every shower?

cleaning your ears with Q-tips does more damage than actual good since you push more wax further in than you get out.

of course you should clean your ears every once in a while (depends on how much wax you make, could be daily), but there's other methods. So telling someone to clean their ears with Q-tips when they have something like this is ignorant. It's probably with good intentions, but still.

I'm gunna disagree with this possibly medical/scientific fact, Vincent. After every shower I take a Q-Tip, I put it in my ear and I use it to rub the walls of my ear canal. I do not jam ear wax further into my ear and I've never in my 30 years suffered from an Ear Infection (that wasn't caused from sniffing in when sick and not blowing my nose).

I'll probably be using debrox maybe once a month from now on, more if needed. Avoiding Q-tips though.

I never use Q-tips, but I clean my ears when I shower. I think ear infections are more for people who swim a lot.
