Due to six to a party, I'll actually do 6 tops like... I forgot who did that before now. But I won't do that gym thing like they did.
Anyway, additional comments away:
- Cute doesn't play a part in my Pokemon, coolness factors do, but I prefer my beasts to actually look tougher than the opponents, not like they will cry when they see the face of the enemy. Okay, I like some Pokes due to cuteness, but never a Top 6 because of it. - Nostalgia hits me a lot - I never played DPt, so I don't know many of the Pokes that were unique to that gen except a few. - I never caught any of the trios, sadly. But I do know what I'm ranking when I do as such - I never levelled a Poke to 100, just to say.
Anyway, shall start on a type I care about less, then people can ask me to do other types, if they don't hate me already.
Okay, Starting at the back. Tentacruel was always an awesome looking Poke. But, due to him being water, he was kinda at the back of my idea of added into the party in Gen 1. But when I added him into my Gen 2 party, he helped me quite a bit.
Crobat- Okay, one of the only types of Pokes made after a bat, and far superior to the rest of his family even though the friendliness need. First time seeing it made me somewhat like him as a Poke, but lack of need for a Flying/Poison type made me not use him.
Weezing- James of Team Rocket made him funny. Plus he was honestly fun to use when screwing around in Gen 1.
Arbok- I love snakes, that's about all I have on it.
Toxicroak- Okay, now we are actually in combat prowess. This guy was fun to use in HG for a while, as a random person on my team. I don't really like either of his types, but he has some strange advantages.
Drapion- The only Poison type that actually over-powers Psychic-types. And a scorpion. Always epic. I wanted him once I saw him in HG, the Poison girl's party. Forget her name now.
Honorable Mentions: Okay, I don't like Poison that much, as you can tell.
Hariyama- Mostly nostalgia hits me for this guy, he was the first time I actually used a Fighting type as anything other than being bored and training all my Pokes for no reason.
Blaziken- As you can tell, Gen 3 is my area of Fighting. Hariyama I used first playthrough until I realized I wasn't building Combusken to be a Contest winner, thus removed him and used Blaze as my top. She, yes she, since I got her as a female, was a good contender for most of my game. But kinda weak against the final three Gym Leaders, naturally my second time I used Mudkip and brought Breloom in.
Ah Heracross, the mistake of not using him my first playthrough of Gen 2 was redeemed the second time. He's a good Poke and was fairly useful against Karen of the Elite 4.
Breloom- An awesome offensive Poke, I began to use Shroomish when playing around and then saw him evolve, he got poisoned by accident but his ability would have me be healed. I enjoyed this so much. He has quite good moves and makes up for anything he lacks by going Sub-Seed. Naturally, don't send him against Flying-types if you do that.
Mienshao- Upon seeing his preevolved form, I wasn't amused since again I don't like Fighting-types. Specifically single-type Fighters. That is, until I saw his evolved form in the Elite 4. I thought I could beat the Fighter easy until Mienshao pwned most of my team (Serperior finally had to come in and beat him). I was amused and liked the creature since.
Gallade- You'll see this man again, one of the few new evos I liked added in 4th Gen. Seeing his typing made me want to renew the ability to use Fighting-types again in HG, so I trained a Ralts. But, I never truly made Gallade a part of my main team, but he's earning me quite some BP.
Honorable Mentions: The Musketeers, Again, I don't really catch the trios, but those three are excellent for switching to after some Dark Poke is in to fight a Psychic (mwahaha Justified). Wait, there's four of them.
Salamence: Badass look, end story. Also a pain in the ass to try and catch in HG, but I finally got that Bagon, still lack of using due to needing to train him and am too busy trying to get my "Team" to lv 100 for fun.
Rayquaza: Most epic Shiny ever. And that he's battle-worthy as well as fitting for any team due to his ability. I've been determined that my Master Ball in HG will be saved for this guy, if only I could finally get ahold of the Kyogre, gah. Broke all of my Net Balls in the red and paralyzed, I just have bad luck with catching Legendaries.
Kingdra: Awesome typing for a Dragon, limits a lot of his weaknesses and looks epic. That's about all I have to say.
Zekrom: Me before Gen V- I want an electric dragon. Me after noticing Zekrom- I'm buying Pokemon White. If only he had Levitate, but Terravolt is nice to counter Wonder Guard.
Flygon: This is where you'll start to hate me, before here are badass Pokemon and here's a... bug-like Dragon. But, I found Flygon cool upon first seeing Drew (from the anime) use him. I don't even know why I like him in truth, I just do.
Dragonite: Nostalgia + First Dragon to ever be created= Complete awesome Pokemon. Why do you think Lance uses three? BECAUSE HE IS NOSTALGIA. That's right, all caps there.
Honorable Mentions: Garchomp (Superior in truth to Flygon, but came after), Kyurem (I want to catch him), and Lati@s (honestly cool Pokes)
Swampert- Gen III was my accidental (I forgot to pick a Water-type) my first playthrough, so then I chose Swampert. He was pretty much like using Bulbasaur in Gen 1, a complete hazard to Gym Leaders (None were super effective against him once he made it to Marshtomp).
Dewott- I did not like Oshawott at the beginning, or any of this line until constant Genny love made me wonder what's to love about it. IT LOOKS AWESOME! That's what's to love about it. An otter that acts like he's dual wielding blades.
Lanturn- Water/Electric. The haunting memory of how Pikachu, Electrode, Zapdos, etc ruined our chances at using an effective Water-type. Until this boy came along. He's not the best combat related, but still pretty cool.
Milotic- The defensive rip-off of Gyarados that doesn't screw up by adding Flying onto something that looks like a dragon. Plus Milotic looks honestly cool.
Feraligatr- I forgot to mention in poison that my love is reptiles, not just snakes. I tried Gen 2 once, and used Cyndaquil, but then I saw Feraligatr and started over on the spot. The only crocodile in Pokemon. Thanks to Krookodile coming in I can now return to Gen 2 and actually use Typhlosion again if I start it over eventually.
Honorable mentions: Mantine (one of my friend's favorite Pokemon that I kinda like), Sharpedo (Like him more as a Dark-type than fitting him into Water), Whiscash (that name is just funny to say), and etc.
Wobbuffet- The infamous XD face and only non-Legendary to make the Uber List, that I know of. He's just a trolling Pokemon.
Claydol- This I don't get. He's a doll made out of clay and somehow actually looks cool. He's quite good for a Trick Room team, and specifically can screw up an enemy team if they can't take him down due to EVing Def, using Power Split then Explosion. It's kinda funny (but not as OP as Shuckle if he uses that strategy). He is far from any strong, but has good potential as a tank, minus his many types that are good against him.
Metagross- I don't know what to say except that this guy is quite cool.
Gallade- Told ya he'd be back
Victini- Psychic + Fire= quite cool. Also, I love the move Stored Power when it comes to Baton Pass Teams. His Base Stats are awesome, and one last thing. V for Victory. His Special move is epic.
Alakazam- Nostalgia, dat Sp. Atk, and most of all he's been my most epic party member since Gen 1. Even in Pokemon Tower Defense, he's been saving my ass. I never EV train, but my friend who does faced me. This guy saved me twice by me accidentally using Recover so he outlived my opponent while my ally pwned his weaknesses. It's been quite funny.
Weavile- Fast hazard and dem claws are awesome. Only problem is having to breed with Ice Punch for him to get an actually effective Ice move, since he's more of an Atk Poke.
Houndoom- Hell Hound, 'nough said.
Absol- I like dogs, okay? And this one had more crits when I fought the Elite Four than the rest of my party throughout the game combined. I just liked him for some reason. Oh, I should say that this was my HG party.
Sharpedo- A shark Torpedo, what's not to like?
Krookodile- My answer has been complete, the use of another crocodile in Pokemon is complete. Also, he's one effective Poke in this game. Starting with biting into Elesa's squirrels.
Tyranitar- One epic Poke, he looks cool and has the power to show it, end story.
Honorable Mentions: Cacturne (except for having Sand Veil when you take dmg for Sandstorm), Zoroark (for Illusion, but due to it we don't get to see your awesome face), Mightyena (another dog).

Official Pidgeot of the B/W Boards Clan Quite frankly my Deerling, I don't give a Wormadam- GenesisSaga
Suicune- It's hard to expect this, but throughout my playthroughs of Gens 1, 2, Sapphire twice, and then HG, I never encountered a Shiny.
Until, going through HG. BOOM Suicune ended up Shiny. My very first time seeing a shiny, but the problem? Remember how I said I suck at catching Legendaries? It took me pretty much 10 Net balls to catch this Poke. But, I finally did and Suicune became my very first Shiny.
And then I've never used her since.

Ho-Oh- A nice Legendary, cool design, not bad for combat.
Ninetails- Awesome Poke with an awesome design. I still love foxes.
Chandelure- Dat chandeleir... or however that word is spelt. It's still fun to Will-o-wisp then Hex opponents.
Volcarona- I am ashamed I didn't look this Poke up during the Fire contest. The final move it learns is awesome.
Typhlosion- I like Gen 2's starters, but usually only used the Gator since he was the only gator. But this guy is awesome as well.
Arcanine- Giant dog, badass, not bad moves. End story.
I got small write-ups here, Honorable mentions: Camerupt (for having a volcano on his back), Houndoom (Hell-hound is back), Darmanitan (To admit, he's strong and dem eyebrows intimidate weaklings)
Dishonorable mention: Charizard- Sorry to state this, but he is OVERRATED. I've yet to like him for taking on Flying rather than Dragon type.

Steel-types, one of the things Gen V did right. There were so many I actually wanted to use after going through the full game, but didn't get to use them (as shown why they are below the three I have used and like).
Bisharp- Awesome look, moves are somewhat lacking as is speed, but he's normal for a Steel-type
Ferrothorn- Tank for a Trick Room Team. The only problem is the dual Fire weakness, but that's easily taken care of.
Excadrill- This Poke on a Sandstorm team? Will be seen from here on out. Those abilities + That Drill Run. Quite a nice Poke.
Forretress- Now to the Pokes I have used. Bug/Steel was started with this guy and Scizor, he's honestly quite good and due to only having one weakness is somewhat of a life saver.
Skarmory- Dem wings of pure blades are epic. Only problem is that he has the speed of a Steel-type and one fairly pathetic moveset. But he was that one Poke I came across in Gen 2 and had to catch right then because he looked that cool.
Steelix- Now to explain something, back in the Flying contest, I said I disapproved of Scyther as a Flying-type due to Scizor losing that for Steel. It's not simply that reason, the true reason is that to lose flying is to lose flight. Scizor still has wings and can fly, but loses that typing for turning metal? Steelix however is the evolved form of one of my fav Gen 1 pokes. I don't even know why I like Onix, but I do. Now, I traded Onix with the Metal Coat in Gen 2 for this guy. He looks intimidating with the spikes protruding his original rocks, and the face was crazy. I guess I have him here mostly for nostalgia.
Also, Jasmine's Steelix. I have it.
Maybe that's why I don't like Steel that much, my favs aren't exactly the best combat-related at all. Just very defensive, but that's all Steel-types.

Braviary- He's an eagle, that's badass. What else can I say? He's bottom of top six for staying as a puffball for way too long.
Noctowl- My flying type for my first playthrough of Gen 2 (Pidgeot replaced the second time due to my love for it). If only he was psychic/flying instead I might have loved him more, but Hypnosis gave me a bit of help throughout the game.
Gligar- HG, run down the route that used to have a badass steel bird, now see a bat-scorpion thing, that's sticking it's tongue out at me. I then looked him up at Serebii and noticed his typing. Caught him right then and there and trained him a bit before noticing his evolved form. I still used him against Lt. Surge just to piss that guy off.
Togekiss- It's strange that I like it, but I do. The Poke that was originally an egg, then a flying egg, and now a somewhat ugly creature. Mock him, though, and you may be taking an Aura Sphere to the face, as well as Serene's Grace on Flinching moves and many others.
Aerodactyl- One awesome fossil, looks awesome, attacks awesomely, and much more regarding his awesomeness. Other than that I pretty much narrowed it down why he's up there.
Pidgeot- Nostalgic value to the max. His stats may be horribly outranked, but he was my first flier, my original flier, and the one Flying-type I will still use no matter what, except when actually trying to win a fight. Also, this is the Poke that makes me pissed at Ash right now.
He promised to return for it after he was finished in the Orange Islands, a sentiment that he still hoped he could do in Fighting Flyer with Fire. However, Ash has yet to fulfill that promise
**** you Ash, get that Poke back.
Honorable Mentions: Xatu (for looking cool), Swellow (for being a good bird in Gen 3), and many more.

Rhydon- Awesome looking poke and powerful too, such a shame that they made Rhyperior. He is not a good addition to the epic line that was.
Shuckle- Those defenses, looking for a tank? Shuckle is your man. 614 in either Def or Sp. Def is epic. Imagine Power Tricking that. Only problem? To use that strategy you gotta have actual attacks, which will come from either TMs or other gens. Which means his strongest STAB would be Stone Edge -_-
Archeops- The Fossil that is an updated Aerodactyl, with feathers. I must say, this guy looks kinda cool with the tropical feel to him.
Onix- Nostalgia value up to the point that I used him to OHKO Red's Charizard. In HG.
Tyranitar- Epic look to epic damage, replaced my Onix when I was finished screwing around that way.
Kabutops- Those claws are win, and one awesome Fossil as well.
Honorable Mentions: Aerodatyl (but avoided doubling), Aggron (Although I haven't spotted him in either of his types, he truly is an intimidating fellow), Armaldo (Where the effective moves Shuckle needs went).

I'm reading! Your Flying was the first list I was kinda iffy on. They're all solid choices, just none of my personal favorites. Except Pidgeot, mostly because I have a shiny golden one. :D Do Ice next.
Also these are the first posts that i've read from you. I recognize your sig so I guess i've seen you before but whatever. One question: is english not your native tongue? You speak like someone who learned english later in life. Don't take that as an insult though your english is fine.
